The best part of today was going west on the Superior Hiking Trail from the Camp 20 Road. There were steep steps right away but then we entered an area of Spring Beauty as far as the eye could see. Wild Ginger and Wood Anemone were blooming. The Nodding Trillium were almost ready to bloom and the Bloodroot were forming seed pods. Along the road were many Marsh Marigolds, Dandelions and Wild Strawberries. The first fruit trees to bloom are the Juneberries and they are beginning.
