This week I
noticed Marsh Marigolds
(Cowslip) blooming in the
ditches along Highway 61 in many
areas, such
as
Silver Bay, Croftville, and
Colvill. They have also
been seen blooming on the
Gunflint Trail.
I took a hike
up to Caribou Falls.
During that hike I saw purple
and yellow violets, dandelion,
wood anenome, and fly
honeysuckle blooming.
In Colvill, I
also found a beautiful batch of
Bloodroot.
Here are some early bloomers to
keep your eyes out for:
