Report on the Tuesday Fire

Tuesday Fire Update Saturday July 6th 10:00 AM.
Mop up activities continue on the Tuesday Fire. Good progress was made
yesterday. The acreage is presently at 450, the increase due to a
burnout on the NE edge of the fire to create a more defensible
containment line. The fire was declared 80% contained as of 6:30 AM July
6th, with full containment expected tonight.
One helicopter, 5 dozers, 6 engines, 12 all terrain water delivery
vehicles and 7 hand crews of various sizes will be working on the fire
today. The objective for today is to continue to do mop-up 100-200 feet
inside of the dozer lines and eliminate and remaining burning snags.
