Comments: Ski trails
are never groomed at George H. Crosby-Manitou. The park does have
some great snowshoeing opportunities. With the recent warmer
temperatures the snow is starting to settle and create a nice crust
on top in the mornings. Send your trail report to trailconditions@bwca.cc

Comments: Good.
Still plenty of snow coverage. A little icy and rough in spots on
the narrower wooded trails but the main trail was perfect. Spring
skiing doesn't get better then it was this last weekend. Stayed at
National Forest Lodge, so skiing out our cabin door we were able to
enjoy a fullmoon ski and a another ski at sunrise both on the lake,
then hit the trail system during the day. The sauna by the lake and
outdoor hot tub topped it off. If you haven't classic skiied this
trail and you like peaceful beautiful forests with lots of big white
pines this is a must do.

Comments: The
trail from the Laine Road to Beaver Crossing and from Finland to the
Caribou parking lot was last groomed on Saturday, March 6th. Warm
temperatures & rain prevented the remaining sections of trail to be
groomed. This was our last grooming run for this season. As of
today, Thursday, March 11th, there is still rideable snow in the
Finland area. Expect spring riding conditions. Warmer temperatures
and rain continue to be in the forecast which will cause trail
conditions to deteriorate.
Send your trail report to
trailconditions@bwca.cc
- Use caution, this is a multiple use trail with snowmobile traffic.
